USAD is now offering Research Guides in Art, Music, and Science. The Research Guides offer comprehensive coverage of all independent research topics in art, music, and science, except for those topics that already receive coverage in the USAD Basic Guides (i.e., art fundamentals and basic elements of music theory).
USAD is offering the Research Guides to assist teams who do not have adequate time or resources to conduct the independent research on their own. USAD strongly believes that research is an essential and valuable skill and encourages students to continue to conduct their own research on these topics if at all possible. Moreover, in an effort to ensure that students who research these topics independently are not put at a disadvantage, USAD’s test writers will not be made aware of the information that is included in the Research Guides, and the Research Guides will not be a direct source of any USAD test questions.
